What was covered

Great power competitors such as China and Russia have increased their military capabilities over the past 20 years, impacting how the U.S. military procures, builds, and deploys critical readiness components.

In 2018, the U.S. National Defense Strategy, aiming to restore its competitive edge, required streamlined contracting and purchasing processes backed by a secure supply chain.

As technology advances rapidly, how are 21st-century Navy and Marine Corps teams preparing for future threats and crisis response operations? How is the Pentagon procuring, designing and deploying amphibious warships, aircraft, weapons and sensors? How has the pandemic affected the defense industrial base supply chain, and what are defense communities doing to prevent future disruptions?

On March 18, The Hill will convene members of Congress, defense and national security leaders, and more to explore how the Navy and Marine Corps can maintain military readiness domestically and abroad.

Key Topics:

What agile event programs are and why they're essential

Strategies and tools for building agile event marketing

How to scale agile event programs without losing brand integrity or valuable data

Steps you can take right now to introduce agile event marketing into your business

Grab your favorite snack and tune in.

About

Nearly 1 in 10 Americans is living with a rare disease. 95 percent of these diseases currently lack an FDA-approved treatment.

For many of these patients, access to treatments and breakthrough developments from clinical trials can mean the difference between life and death.

How has the pandemic impacted Americans living with rare diseases, particularly as clinical trials have been delayed?  How are the scientific and medical communities prioritizing rare disease research amid competing health concerns? What is Congress doing to address the disruption of these scientific discoveries for rare disease patients?

On February 24, join The Hill to explore what’s at stake for the nearly 30 million Americans with rare diseases and the critical scientific research landscape they rely on.
